 s. The Franklin County Historical Society tells the story of official cour
 t proceedings from the late 1700s through the present and tells many of th
 e local community traditions that surrounded it in Franklin County. The Fr
 anklin County Historical Society also presents an entertaining program on 
 the courthouse lawn. Guided tours to historic homes/buildings are also ava
