For over 30 years, Silver Creek & Seamans’ Orchards (SCSO) has been having their Apple Butter Makin’ Festivals the first and third Saturdays in October. The festival features the making of apple butter, live music, food, a corn maze, a pick your own pumpkin patch, and tons of apples to choose from.

From Roanoke get on I-581 N/US-220 N from Gainsboro Rd NW. Follow I-81 N to VA-710 in Fairfield. Take exit 200 from I-81 N. Drive to VA-56 E in Tyro and the orchard will be on the right.
