The Willis Gap Community Center Open Jam (every Friday night) at 144 The Hollow Road, Ararat, VA 24053, Affiliated Partner of The Crooked Road Virginia’s Heritage Music Trail. A few miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway (Mabry Mill), a few miles from Meadows of Dan (Primland Auberge Resort), and a few miles from Mount Airy, NC (Mayberry) the Hometown of Andy Griffith. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and music at 7:00 p.m. with acoustic instruments. We are inviting all ages and skill levels. Fresh slaw/chili hotdogs, chips, candy, cakes, popcorn, sodas, coffee, and bottled water—southern hospitality at its best. Music, dancing, food, fellowship, and family-friendly—the 50/50 drawing around 8:30 p.m.
